Rooted & Roaming: Wandering Home

Sure. My past was filled with struggles. Moving in and out of shelters with my child, barely scraping by, and facing challenges without support. But that past no longer defines me. I choose to live in the Now, embracing the lessons learned while focusing on the life I am creating now.

I have lived with the scars of my past for years. I have worked extra hard to get to where I am today. My child is grown and onto her own life’s path with my beautiful grandchildren in tow. I am finally safe and secure. My home is my own little safe haven. And that is exactly where I’ve been when I have not been at work. I was perfectly content.

Then, on one fateful day in November 2024, a path to clarity started to unfold. Which led me to discovering the truth about life, or, should I say, the truth about life’s lies. I am sure there are many more truths of life for me to yet discover.

Since my awakening, I’ve felt an undeniable pull toward a life deeply connected to the earth. Nature has always felt like home, but for a long time, I wasn’t sure where I truly belonged among people. That’s changing now, as I see people differently. I am understanding our origin and feeling more connected as I realize our oneness.  I’m setting out to find my community. Those who share the vision of living in harmony with the land, building something real, something lasting.

For years, I felt the weight of the modern world pressing down. Its expectations, its demands, its disconnection from the very essence of what it means to be alive. But something shifted within me. I began to see life differently. I began to understand that I don’t have to follow a path that doesn’t resonate with my soul. The idea of community—one that is deeply rooted in love, sustainability, and spiritual growth—became clearer with every passing day. And now, it’s time to bring that vision to life.

I am manifesting a peaceful life in a Treehouse Homestead Community. In my vision, there are approximately 5 families all working together for generations to come. We will be creating a thriving self-sustainable lifestyle full of Love, Peace, Joy, Creativity and Spirituality.

To help achieve that, I’ll be re-fabricating a bus or truck into a tiny home on wheels. A moving sanctuary and a bridge between where I am and where I’m meant to be. This isn’t just about finding land; it’s about discovery. Of myself. Of the people who are meant to walk this path with me. Of the place we will one day call home. Every decision I make in this process will be guided by intuition. From choosing the right vehicle, to designing a space that embodies both freedom and grounding. I trust that each step will lead me closer to where I’m meant to be.

The build itself will be a journey. Re-purposing materials, crafting a space that is both functional and filled with warmth, learning as I go. I’ll share every step, the challenges, the victories, and the lessons, because this is bigger than just me. This is about all of us who feel the call for something more.

Once the wheels are ready to turn, I’ll set out—traveling, searching, and documenting every part of this unfolding adventure. I’ll visit places that resonate and meet people who will be part of this vision. While exploring different possibilities for where our community can take root. It’s not just about finding land—it’s about aligning with the right land, the right energy, and the right people.
